Markets occur twice weekly. A huge Wednesday market is parked only a block and a half from Oya's place. Ohhh, the fresh produce. The vast Saturday market incorporates clothing and other small stalls. Presentation is everything.
Oh hot pepper spices. Not 1, not 2, not 3 but 7 varieties! And grape leaves for sarma, Turkey's answer to Greek dolmades. Yummmmm...
A young Turkish girl expertly handles her customers. Freaky optical illusion with some random guy's hairy paw! Note radishes the size of pomegranates. Apparently, pomegranates are the size of grapefruits.
